rear bracket so I could install the others. Make the piping on
the left front of the fuel tank from pieces of .040” styrene rod
and .022” brass wire. You can do this or use some of the piping
from the Cannon & Company kit. Glue the Hi Tech Details 6009
waste retention tank to the rear of the fuel tank, and glue a
piece of .020” styrene rod on the rear left of the fuel tank.
Traction motor details
Install the Details West traction motor cables. I followed the
guide on Brian Banna’s website at

I ended up using three packages of Details West traction
motor cables. The cable routing is shown in[50].
Because we replaced the Proto 2000 cab and short hood with
Cannon & Company parts, the shell will no longer fit over the
frame weight. The easiest way to fix this is to use a hacksaw to
cut off the front portion of the weight as seen in [51]. Discard
the front portion.
