STEP 2: Choosing an architectural detail
Pick the profile of the decorative cap. I chose
to use a HO scale 4” x 8” strip, part 8408 from
Evergreen Scale Models. It comes in a packet
of 10 strips. You could use a different profile,
such as a quarter- or half-round strip to change
the profile and add some variety to the detail on
different structures.

Other sizes and profiles will give some variety
from building to building.
