Gaps can also present themselves along the top
seam of sections where they meet the parapet
sections of the modular kit. If the gap is there,
follow the process used on the internal vertical
sections.

STEP 8: Painting and weathering
21. Paint the entire structure with the base color to
prepare it for detail painting and weathering.

I find it easier to paint the entire structure with the
base color first. This is a personal preference due to
the way that I weather my structures, and the fact
that I can paint the sections by hand quite easily.
Because the add-on trim parts are white styrene,
primer allows me to use only two coats of the
final color, as opposed to several coats if they are
not undercoated first.
