I paint the completed sections all by brush.
Masking to use an airbrush would take double the
amount of time.
The brick color is very stark. This is dulled
considerably when the weathering powders and/or
washes are added.

I generally use PollyScale “Aged Concrete”
acrylic paint for the detail sections. This is a light
gray with hints of yellow. Painting by hand gives
it a weathered effect, as the base color shows
through in places and adds a nice variety. After the
structure has been painted, weather with either a
wash and/or weathering powders.
