operating model is based on a prototype manufactured by
the Magnetic Signal Company. The model can be assembled
with the doors of the cabinet containing the control mecha-
nism open. The addition of one or two technicians peering

Tangent Scale
Models
introduced a
new version of its
HO scale Pullman-
Standard PS-2CD 4750 covered hopper at the National Train
Show. The new ready-to-run model represents the proto-
type as manufactured by P-S from 1979 to 1981. Changes
from prior cars include a new roof design, narrowed roof
hatches, sloped running board, different jacking pads,
welded underframe components, and a new brake sys-
tem. Road names are Burlington Northern, LN Family Lines
(above), Missouri-Kansas-Texas, Southern, Foster Farms
(FPFX), Mid-South Milling (MSMX), and undecorated. An
