Walthers will soon release an EMD GP15-1 with a DCC decoder
and Soundtraxx Sound. Road names will include Chicago North
Western (Operation Lifesaver), Burlington Northern (green),
Chessie System, Missouri Pacific, and Canadian Pacific.

trucks and single or double Youngstown doors will be as appro-
priate to the prototype. Three Santa Fe cars painted medium
green will be offered. All will have double doors. Two of the SF
cars (express service and billboard scheme) will ride on Barber
S2 trucks. The third SF car (Chief scheme) will be equipped with
Allied Full-Cushion trucks. A Kansas City Southern car will have
single doors and Barber S2 trucks. Single doors will also be on a
Chicago North Western car but it will have Allied trucks. A

Missouri Pacific car (seen here) will have double doors and GSC
BX trucks. The MSRP on this Proto series ready-to-run model
will be $39.98.
Walthers is working

series EMD GP60
diesel locomotives.
Road names, with several road specific details, will be Santa Fe
(blue and yellow with American flag), Norfolk Southern (black
and white horse head scheme), Union Pacific (SSW Cotton
Belt patch), and Southern Pacific (speed lettering, above). The
ready-to-run model will be available for DC operation at an
MSRP of $199.98. GP60s equipped for DCC operation with a
Tsunami sound decoder will list at $299.98.
