Wormser Furniture
Company, an HO scale
craftsman kit based on
an historic structure in
Fresno’s Warehouse
Row. The sturdy brick
structure dates from
the first decade of
the twentieth century, reflecting the growth spurred by the
construction of the Santa Fe Railroad and the emergence of
Fresno, CA as an important agricultural center.
Monster Model Works uses several interesting techniques to
create the limited-edition kit; only 100 will be produced. The
American Bond brick siding, wrap-around brick cornice and
caps, and aged brick corners are all 3D-engraved. The loading
dock ramp and drain downspouts are produced by 3D print-
ing. The tar paper roofing, as well as the windows and doors,
are peel and stick material. The kit has a stencil for creating
the sign on the exterior brick surface. The finished structure is
6.75” high, and has a footprint of 10.687” x 6.125”. Visit the
website for pricing and availability.

on the car have only four hinges on each side rather than the
usual six. Additional features of the plastic injection molded

separately-applied grab irons and corner stirrups. The model is
based on an Atlas Master series product and is correct for the
two car numbers offered by NERS. This is a very limited pro-
duction run. They are priced at $44.00 each (check or money
order) plus $6.00 shipping for a single car or $8.00 for two.
