ISE provides excellent documentation in the form of a PDF
manual, but configuration of the system was so simple and
intuitive that I didn’t even consult the doc when setting mine
up. Their system supports, among other things, 12 or 24 hour
time display formats individually configurable for real time and
fast time, “Hold” mode for time out during an operating ses-
sion, and an unlimited number of secondary display clocks.
The fast clock ratio is configurable down to tenths, supporting
values from 1.0/1 to 99.9/1. I simulate a 10½ to 12 hour pro-
totype day in about a 2½ to 3 hour session, so I set my ratio to
4.2/1 (10.5 divided by 2.5 = 4.2).
One of my favorite features of the ISE Fast Clock is a testament
to ISE’s desire to listen to customers and incorporate feedback.
During initial discussions, I was asked what I’d like to see in a
