plans to begin
shipping an HO scale
craftsman kit for Feller’s
Garage about mid-Janu-
ary. The laser-cut struc-
ture is based on a landmark prototype in Castle Shannon, PA.
The concept and base drawings for this kit was created by
Bill Sartore of Microlumina. Components in the kit include
3D engraved concrete block wall and corners, and terra cotta
coping; 3D printed chimney pipe and concrete steps; laser-cut
windows, doors, and pan-type awning; and peel & stick tar
paper roofing material. Signage includes a printed sign for the
side wall sign and a stencil for the large front sign. The assem-
bled model is 2.875” high and has a footprint of 6.875” x 5.65”.
An S scale version of Feller’s is expected to be released soon.

at Canadian-based Rapido
state the new HO scale model
will replicate the iconic American prototype and will not simply

7000 and 8000 gallon acid
tank car this month. Bill
Darnaby built the pilot model shown here. RCW owner Frank
Hodina reports that everything is ready except the photo-etched
ladders and tank bands. The 7000-gallon car will be available with
decals for General Chemical, National Analine & Chemical, and
Consolidated Chemical Industries. The 8000 gallon version will be
available for Consolidated Chemical Industries and Hooker. Kits
