monthly photo feature presents some of the
most inspiring modeling and photos from the MRH website. If
you’d like to get
your modeling
in our photo feature, just start post-
ing your photos on the MRH website, especially in the
created each weekend.
Many of the photos posted show HOmodeling, but we’d like to
encourage modelers in other scales to post on the MRH website as
well. We don’t want this to just be an HO photo feature!

6: The local crew is trying to figure out how they are going to pick
up the car with all of the 87:1 stuff scattered about the yard.
Joe Atkinson is modeling the Iowa Interstate's Atlantic Iowa
yard as it existed in May of 2005. He's done a great job of mod-
eling decrepit track. It’s one of those things we see on the pro-
totype, but is seldom modeled.

5: The engineer of SP 5500 is patiently waiting for the brake-
man to connect the air hoses so they can pull the empty car
from the warehouse dock.
Jürg Rüedi has captured the feel of an industrial siding, from
the weeds growing up through the cracks in the concrete
to small bits of trash along the dock wall. The engine is an
Overland Model RSD-5 Ph III, The model was painted and
weathered by Tom Mann.
