truck with spring plank. The
model has a one-piece black
acetal plastic moldings with separate brake shoe detail. It is fit-
ted with InterMountain non-magnetic, insulated metal RP-25

is working on a project to import handcrafted brass mod-
els of the Golden State, the extra-fare Chicago-Los Angeles
streamliner that was jointly operated by the Rock Island and
Southern Pacific Railroads. UTI will offer two complete eight-
car sets of the Golden State; one with an RI theme and the
other with an SP theme. The HO scale models will be based
on details and finish of the 1955-56 and 1960s prototype. The
models will be produced by Boo Rim Precision of South Korea.
Interested parties should visit the above website for the name
of participating dealers since production quantities will only
be sufficient to meet pre-orders.
