the tank. Sounds include squeaking as the spout moves up
and down, the clanking of the water hatch on the tender deck,
enginemen talking, and the sound of water gushing into the
tender. Unlettered water tanks will be available in brown and
boxcar red. Tanks with bold logos will be available for Santa Fe,
New York Central, Pennsylvania Railroad, Union Pacific, City of
Abilene (long horn steer), and BLI. The system operates on 12
volt DC (not supplied).

The prototypes are
the Canadian versions of the Alco Century 630 and Century 636.
The design phase for the models is finished and, according to
Bowser chief Lee English, work will begin sometime this month
on preparing tooling for the M636. When it is completed, tool-
ing for the M630 will begin.
