Maple Leaf Trains is an Israel-based company established by
Kfir Abargil, who discovered his passion for model trains when
his great-uncle founded the Israeli Model Railroad Club. After
visiting Canada in 2008, Kfir decided to build a layout represent-
ing railroads serving Toronto. Since an F59PH as operated by
Toronto’s GO Transit was not available, Kfir designed and built his
own model using state-of-the-art laser technology, metal etch-
ing, and resin casting.
