has two cars attached as part of the building. The second car is
a Southern Railroad coach.
After some effort, I made contact with Kathy Kopacz. She and
George Adams worked together to allow me access to the inte-
rior of the Bamboo Grove upon my visit to the condominium in
Sept 2011.
As you enter the condominium complex, you are greeted
by the Bamboo Grove, running parallel to the driveway. The
exterior has been repainted back into the original 1940 color
scheme, with the exception of the herald plate on the tail end.
This was done as part of the restoration work to repair damage
done by the 2004 hurricanes. The condo association took the
time and effort to repaint using real railroad paints, matching
the colors to the original colors as closely as possible.
