3. It’s Christmas Eve and a church member is waiting for the train to
clear the crossing.
James Butler took this photo on an 18” x 18” diorama to have a nice
Christmas image. “The rolling stock is Walthers that I lightly weath-
ered. The truck waiting at the crossing is a Busch model equipped with
head and tail lights.”
“The church is a Walthers kit, the stained glass windows are photo-
graphs of a local church windows, printed on clear plastic. The snow is
Woodland Scenics, and the trees are from various sources, including a
couple of small trees hand-made from wire. The background image of
the barn on a snow-covered hill was photographed by my wife, Becky,
in Fayette County, WV.”
