paints. I finish the parking lot with a light dusting of actual
cement to represent sand and weathering spread out across
the parking lot, which also helps blend the colors.
Painting and decaling
Painting the model is relatively straightforward since each of
the building components are separate, allowing each side to be
sprayed individually. For a project this large, several bottles of
white paint are required. I’m a holdout of Floquil lacquer-based
paints, so I used up my last few bottles of Reefer White, which
