the modifications on the right. The headlight castings are in
between the handrails. They will be glued to the side of the
locomotive to become the number boards.

Finally I glued on supplied coupler lift bars and stanchions.
The model did not have any of the detail parts to make it a
Norfolk Southern locomotive. I added these details based on
several photos of NS 701. These photos show the details added
to the Bachmann model.
