Models sunshades are added to the sides of the cabs.

I painted Alloy Forms #1000 chain flat black and cut it to size,
adding on to the hooks.
I really enjoy the Hi-Tech Details #6034 MU and brake hoses,
and attached these to the ends of the unit. They were painted
with Testors Silver and Floquil Rust paint pens.
The grab bars are made from 0.020” brass wire. I cut two
lengths and fashioned them to shape. Holes are drilled, the
grabs painted yellow, and attached to the front and rear pilots
(8). I bent four A-Line #29100 Grab Irons (drop style) into a
straight grab iron, drilled holes and installed them on the front
and rear pilots. I cut a lengths of 0.020” brass wire and made
the grab bar for the rear cab door, and the upper handrail on
left side next to cab. These are also painted yellow.
I painted the engineer, seat, and control stand and glued them
into the cab. The cab was then attached to the locomotive
