to finish, most of that time waiting between each application of a
branch as the glue dried. The time can be dramatically reduced by
following Scenic Express’ recommendation to use CA and an accel-
erator, and or by processing a number of trees at the same time in
assembly line fashion.
On the layout
One consideration that I didn’t make when starting this project
was how to actually use the trees. I knew I wanted some maple
trees, but other than that, I didn’t have any fixed goals in mind,
which often is not the best approach. So I had my maple tree but
now what?
It may seem self-evident that you just plant the larger tree and
walk away, but I hadn’t thought about the size of these trees in
comparison to the forest of SuperTrees that were already in place.
