oe Fugate wanted to give me a month off in August, but

I asked for a little bit of space this month so I could still

have a fun video in MRH. There's

            always

          something

neat every month! Atlanta’s NMRA show demonstrated that

the hobby is alive and well, with many new cool products

          and a record-breaking attendance.

I shot the MoPac GP38 still photo during a video session

aimed at getting realistic switching footage at scale speeds.

The radio throttle kept experiencing interference, so switch-

ing was not as perfect as it could have been.

I added to this month's video a few prototype run-bys below

my bluff, along with some large scale footage. Also watch

for some fun eye candy in the video. Joe told me to men-

tion some of the videos I'm making to sell, too. So hopefully,

some good modeling entertainment in the August “What’s

neat this week” video. Watch and enjoy!
