For about the cost of a sandwich [see sandwich promo], each
month TrainMasters-TV will bring you more than an hour’s
worth of entertaining and informative video that will help you
build a better layout.
Each monthly TrainMasters lineup will tour innovative layouts,
include hands-on demos from experienced clinicians, profile
hobby manufacturers, and visit museums or hobby expos.
We’re looking to bring you innovative new techniques from
modelers who really know their stuff, and we’ll be featuring
some of the most passionate personalities in the hobby so
you can really see what makes them tick.
TrainMasters-TV will have minimal advertising, so you sub-
scribe to it monthly like you do Netflix. While TrainMasters-TV
may have part of its content produced by the MRH staff, we
want to get the focus off MRH and onto those making a differ-
ence in this great hobby of ours.
True to our name, we want the focus to be the HOBBYIST and
what’s special about their approach to the hobby. We want to
help you get to know these modelers so that what you learn
can make your own pursuit of the hobby as satisfying and re-
warding as possible.
So watch for it –
– coming your way this fall.

Asking modeling questions
It seems like every week someone sends one of the staff a
modeling question like “what’s the best brand of turnouts”
or “which is better for bonding ballast, white glue or matte
medium?” Sometimes the questions get very specific, like
“What was the mix of rolling stock on the 1952 Clinchfield?”
While the MRH staff may be able to offer advice on some of
these questions, you often may not get the most in-depth
answer from us, even if we know the answer.
A better option is to post your questions on the MRH website.
Instead of 10 already overloaded MRH Staffers who maybe
know the answer, the MRH forums
