The mounts were made from DA .010" x .030"
brass stock. These strips were bent over the
grab iron jig. The short legs were bent over the
short end of the jig and are16” long. The long
legs were just cut longer than the corner running
board pieces. They were trimmed after they were
installed. This part of the corner mounts will be
cemented under the main running boards.
When I went to install the corner boards, I
discovered that the legs were too long and
needed to be trimmed approximately 6”. This was
no problem. Using nippers, I trimmed them to fit
when they were installed.
