Cutting gaps
Q.
To cut gaps around frogs, Fast Tracks suggests using a small
coping saw, and an MRH article shows a motor tool with cut-off
disc, but the gap is large so must be filled with plastic. Anyone
have a suggestion on something in-between? Something that
makes a big enough gap, but does not need to be filled with a
chunk of plastic?

Two questions here: How do you cut gaps, and how do you
guarantee that they remain gaps?
