2: Cut a floor to the dimensions shown from
1/8" thick basswood. These dimensions account
for the thickness of the sheathingmaterial. I
find that my accuracy in constructingmodels is
greatly enhanced by the use of a dial caliper. My
caliper is calibrated inmillimeters, and I will give
measurements in that system. For me it ismore
precise tomeasure 10mm on a caliper versus 2'-
10" on a scale ruler.
