Converting frommm to scale inches
HO scale is 3.5mm=12"
Dividing12"by87= .01379" =3.5mm
If ameasurement of 34" is required inmm, use the following
equation
3.5mm/12" x34" = x in this case x=9.91mmor 10mm
If youknow the value inmmbut need inches the formula is as
follows:
10mm= (3.5mm/12")x
10mm= .29167x
34.28" = x
Constants for other scales
O scaleuse6.35mm
S scaleuse4.7625mm
HO scaleuse3.5mm
N scaleuse1.905m
