5: Mike weathered this Southern waffle box (Exactrail) right
out of the box. The white marks and yellow striping are
Microscale decals.
4: The SP/UP SD50 (Athearn) is a time traveler. Mike just
hammered it. He found prototype pictures of the UP/SP
patched units, and they are not this faded or rusted up.
Maybe they will be after another 10 years of heavy use. All
weathering was done with artists oil paints, and Microscale
decals were used.
