7: After the 2nd coat was applied, I carefully
inspected the shell with an LED flashlight,
looking for dry or rough spots. The surface
appeared glossy and smooth.
8: A second coat was applied five minutes after
the first. Upon inspection, the Alclad2 finish
appeared smooth and level. The finish is so
smooth that the reflection of my camera can be
seen on the side of the car.
