Photo 14a shows a reefer express passing through Oakhill while
a couple of gravel loads are being pulled. I liked this shot but I
wanted to get in closer to the action. I also wanted to keep the
building on the far left and the Quonset hut in the shot, making
getting in closer a bit tricky. I cropped the shot to create photo
14b but wasn't entirely satisfied.
Maybe, I thought, I could raise the camera a bit and get a view
over the tops of the cars. Photo 15 shows that attempt. It
didn't do much to show what's beyond the gravel hoppers, and
it revealed that the inside of the hoppers badly need another
round of weathering. I didn't want to take the time to do that,
so the camera was lowered back to the ground.
