was interested in a low-
cost airbrush air supply
that provided adjust-
able pressure, filtered air,
no pulsing, and was silent so
it would not disturb other
members of the household.
Rather than purchasing a
dedicated airbrush compres-
sor or relying on cans of pro-
pellant or a cylinder of CO
2
,
I thought a better option
would be to modify a por-
table 10-gallon air tank to
become an airbrush supply.
This approach meets all the
criteria above and has some
strengths, specifically:
No noise.
No pulsing.
No frozen valves on a pro-
pellant can.
