Kato is scheduled
to release Union
Pacific and BNSF
(swoosh scheme)
versions of its
N scale ES44AC locomotive this month. They will be followed
in August by the release of a CSX version in the dark future
scheme as illustrated here. The production run is scheduled to
be completed in September with the release of ES44AC loco-
motives decorated for Canadian Pacific and Canadian National.

has released
several new N
scale items includ-
ing a Norfolk
Southern SW1500
diesel switcher. The model has an MSRP of $109.95 and is DCC
Plug ‘n Play ready.
Micro-Trains
continues to
expand its

heavyweight
passenger equipment. The newest addition is a New York
Central parlor car decorated in the road’s post-war two-tone
gray scheme. The ready-to-run model has an MSRP of $29.35.
