To show this car was recently weighed, I added a patch
of freight car-red paint over the original load-limit and
light-weight stenciling and re-decaled newer infor-
mation. “P283” is the code for weigh station on the
Pennsylvania Railroad ,and “1-50” was the month and
year the car was weighed.
