X26c rebuild boxcar
4. I wanted to show this car in heavy use from a
Northeast industrial area, so I painted it an oxide red,
and decaled it using Jerry Glow’s
decal set. After the decals were dry, I weathered
the vertical seams and the lower panels with black oil
paint. The area below the car sides was given more
black oils to increase the shadows and add dirt and
grime where they naturally collect.
