the locations of water tanks (W) and fuel (F). There
were turntables inMerced,Merced Falls, Bagby, and
El Portal although the latter twowere no longer being
used by the 1930s. Therewere alsowyes atMerced
andMossCanyon—the latter was used daily by nearly
all of the trains on the line. TheYVhad interchanges
with theSP andATSF inMerced.

1939. Station names rundown the center of the
timetable alongwithmiles from each terminal, ruling
grades, and facilities at each station. Eastbound trains
are to the left of the stations and are listed reading
down, while thewestbound trains are on the right of
the stations, reading up from the bottom.
