ThePointeSt. Charles (PSC) caboose isnamed for theCanadian
National shops inMontrealwhere theywerebuiltduring the
1970s.A total of 548wereproduced–many from40’ CN steel
boxcars. CanadianNational built them for theirownuse, aswell
as forother railroadsacrossCanada. Someof theunique fea-
turesof theprototype thatwill be replicated in theplasticmodel
includeendwindows inboth thecupolaandbody that aretilted
inward to limit glare, and two largefixedpicture-windowson
each sideof thecaboose.Additional features includehand-
appliedgrab irons, silverwindow frames, detailed interior, track-
powereddirectional lighting,workingmarker lights, Kadee®
#158couplers, andvariations in stackandgeneratordetails. The
HO scale ready-to-runmodelwill haveanMSRPof $84.99CAD.
