STEP1:Usingamiter box
I use amiter box and a fine-toothedpull-saw (my
preference for smooth cuts) to cut around all four
sides, about 3/8” back, and just down to the front
veneer. If you use a light touch, you can cut right
to the tough veneer, but not through it.

STEP2:Removingfiller fromveneer
Using an X-Acto knife, I carefully cut the filler from
the veneer. Note the placement of my left hand.
