16: With most of the chaos out of the way, it seemed
therapeutic to immediately plunge into construction.
First I tackled the main line restoration at what will
now be called Green’s Landing. This involved a tricky
splice of two spline roadbed sections with plywood.
The initial plan called for reusing the pair of tunnel por-
tals, and hiding a portion of this new curve.
