Dick Whitney got his start with
model railroading in his youth.
He modeled in HO scale, and
learned how to scratchbuild
with a minimum of funds and
materials.
His main interests are historic
small logging and mining opera-
tions in the Pacific Northwest,
especially researching the machinery they used.
He lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with his wife Cami, and
belongs to the Museum of North Idaho, the Sprang Pole
Museum in Murray, Idaho, and the Inland Northwest Garden
Railway Society
