When I do get out to the HO layout in my garage, I spend a lot of time cleaning my track, and then must clean the wheels on my locos just so I can get them to run. After about 30 minutes of frustration, because my loco stalls constantly, I usually give up. Cleaning with alcohol seems temporary, and mineral spirits seem a little better.
