I generally focus more on a doing the hobby topic than what I would call an “MRH housekeeping” magazine topic in my editorials. This time, however, as I look at the MRH article backlog, I’m finding several holes. It’s time I devoted an editorial to calling for more articles on the topics we need. First, a word about the mix of what we currently publish. Every so often, we get feedback chiding us for publishing so many HO articles, or pleading with us to publish more steam locomotive articles. Reality is, the MRH staff can’t write everything – the fact is you, our readers, provide most of what we publish. That means if you want more steam loco articles or more articles on scales other than HO, then you, dear reader, need to go look in the mirror to see where we’re going to get more of those articles! We’re hoping some of you reading this can write many of these articles we need, or those of you who know someone who can write said article will encourage that certain someone to write the article up for us.
