Hunter Hughson made this shot on his home layout depict- ing North Tonawanda NY in the Penn Central era. Working from period photos, he detailed, painted, and weathered the Atlas locomotive and Bowser caboose. The locomotive reveals its New York Central heritage. The numerals are in the NYC face and the white frame stripe is starting to show through the coat of black paint that was hastily applied at the time of the ill-fated merger.
