Bill Michaels shared these photos of his Deer Creek Mine model from Sierra West Scale Models. He used unsanded grout between the rails, with some dark brown chalk added to the grout to make it a little darker. Black chalk was blended down the center of the track with mineral spirits to simulate oil and grease drippings.
