THE OLD SAYING “TIME FLIES WHEN you’re having fun” is nowhere more appropriate for me than when I’m working on my model railroad. Some of the happiest chunks of time occur when I get in the flow, know what I want to do, know how to do it, and put on some music and do just that. This article will cover what was accomplished in the latest “defined- work window,” and how I did it. Of course, “defined-work window” sounds kind of like corpo- rate-speak, but what I really mean by that term is the period between scheduled op sessions, minus the obligatory minimum two weeks prior, to clean up and test, plus stage the session.
