4. It is 1975 and our intrepid photographer hiked out to Hetchel
Interlocking and caught eastbound Apollo 2 with GE U23B’s in charge
as they pass a heavy Westbound JB-3 on the head end. In less than
a year, everything will change as Conrail will take over operations
on April 1, 1976 The photo was taken on Ralph DeBlasi’s layout. The
