Dirty track and how to fight it
There are some good threads on the MRH website about how
to fight dirty track.
No-Ox has received a lot of good press lately, enough so some
of the MRH staff are going to give it a try. To read the thread on
our website about it, see:
(No-ox discussion)
There’s also a recent thread on using Goo Gone to clean track:
(using Goo Gone)
There are also a number of general track cleaning threads:
(Dirty wheels, again)
(Dirty track, DC vs DCC)
(Keep alive as dirty track solution)
There’s more coming on how to sidestep the issue entirely:
namely battery power. MRH has some threads about that as well:
(General discussion of battery power)
(Full-sized battery powered locos)
(Preview Dead Rail Society system)
So go check out some of these threads if you’d like to know
more about how to keep your track clean - or how you can stop
worrying about dirty track completely!
Our policy regarding photos in ‘Yes, it’s a Model’
The MRH staff pulls many of the photos used in “Yes, it’s a
Model” from those posted on the MRH website, especially
those posted in the Weekly Photo Fun thread.
