Several MRH staff members attended the National Train Show
held last month in conjunction with the National Model Railroad
Association’s annual convention. Many of the new products

100-page book includes some new ideas, as well as selected
favorites from the pages of Model Railroader magazine. Most
projects are designed to be completed in an evening or week-

Boulder Creek Engineering
has intro-
duced the HotShot™ Speedometer
that displays scale speed of passing
trains. The readout device flashes its
display and triggers an alarm when
trains exceed the user-set speed
limit. The device includes photo
sensors to detect trains in typi-
cal room lighting, and automatically adjusts to compensate
