          24: One more problem. The

first train made it all the way

          through South Jackson and

          was entering Mill Bend when

          “beep beep beep”, we had

          another short.

          The South Jackson and Mill

          Bend blocks are powered

          by two different boosters.

          When the loco bridged the

          boundary a short occurred.

A quick check with a digital

          multi-meter revealed the two

          blocks had opposite polarity

          rail power.

          It appears that when a

          Digitrax DCS-100 and

DB-150 are run off a com-

          mon LocoNet, the Rail A

and B outpus of the DB150

          are reversed from the Rail

A and B outputs of the

          DCS100. When the loco con-

          nected them, a short circuit

          occurred.

          I swapped the Rail A and B

wires on the DB150 and all

          was well again.

All I can say is “I’mworking

on it” and things are looking

          promising.

          Time will tell.
